MENS SINGLES : TERRY RACE (ALBION) v GRANT TULLY (STADIUM)

Terry Race won his 3rd Brighton Mens singles title in 2 straight games over Grant Tully. Terry started with 8k in the first leg, and after Grant kicked off with 5k in the second leg Terry got the balls straight back and knocked in another 8k to sew up the match.

Bella secured her 2nd Brighton ladies singles by beating Ros Ridge 2-0.

Gina Sherratt won the lower division title in a close match against Doug Dawson. Both players held their break games, but Gina came out on top in the decider.

Chris Tupper & Colin Smith won this title for the 4th time in the last 8 years. However, it was harder than expected as Kevin Stoner and John Brain put up a very brave fight after holding their break game and keeping the decider close until they black-pegged on the last shot.

MIXED DOUBLES : NIGEL SENIOR & MICHELLE BADEN (QUEEN VIC) V TERRY MOLLOY & BELLA STONER (ALBION)

Nigel Senior & Michelle Baden won the Brighton mixed Doubles for the first time after beating Terry Molloy & Bella Stoner 2-0. The first game was very poor after Bella lost her opening break of 1,500. Nigel got hold of the table in the 2nd leg, a 5k break being enough to secure the title.
